Virginia Economic Bridge, Inc. is involved in workforce development on several fronts.  The primary initiative is establishing working partnerships between companies in Northern Virginia and outsourcing companies in Southwestern Virginia.  Linked Workforce  brings geographically distant workers and employers together through a sub-contracting arrangement.  Work in Northern Virginia is outsourced to an established company in Southwestern Virginia. This allows off-site technology experts and onsite professionals to work seamlessly without the burden and expense of travel or relocation.   

To facilitate this cutting edge work environment, VEB has entered into partnership with three businesses in Southwestern Virginia to support such an operation:  

Virginia Economic Bridge, Inc. (VEB) acts as a catalyst—combining the elements of an available workforce in rural areas of the state and the technical operation expertise of subcontractor companies in rural Virginia to fulfill the IT staffing requirements of Northern Virginia companies.  The VEB Northern Virginia Director meets with business executives in Northern Virginia to market this concept.
