I am writing to offer your company the opportunity to sponsor and be associated with a unique event sponsored by Virginia Economic Bridge, Inc., (VEB) and the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC): the 2nd Annual Virginia’s Linked Workforce Showcase to be held July 14, 2004 at the Holiday Inn Tysons Corner.
The successes from last year’s event have created great interest and enthusiasm across the state to host another event. This year VEB and NVTC are joining forces to focus on bringing Nanotechnology and Biotechnology companies from SWVA and NOVA together. The distinctive feature of this event is that VEB pre-qualifies each of the companies to maximize successful strategic partnerships for subcontracting opportunities.
Leaders from across the state recognize the significance of Virginia’s Linked Workforce Showcase in facilitating and creating opportunities for statewide strategic alliances and subcontracting venues.
The keynote speaker for the 2003 Linked Workforce Showcase was Secretary of Technology George Newstrom; Lieutenant Governor Tim Kaine gave closing remarks.
